Additional snow accumulations will be light as the snow gradually tapers off. Most roads will remain wet and slushy in places...with high elevation roads snowpacked and icy. As temperatures decrease later this afternoon...patches of ice will develop on roads.

Light to moderate snow will continue over the higher terrain of Lincoln County... particularly over the Sacramento and Capitan Mountains. An additional 2 to 3 inches of new snow is possible through late this afternoon over the highest terrain... with perhaps 1 to 2 inches in the Ruidoso area and the remainder of eastern Lincoln County.
